I’m Amy.

Mom to three crazy kids, wife to my college sweetheart, lover of all things banana, avocado and tequila (but not together, that would be gross!) former runner turned proud (and less sore) walker and big believer in progress over perfection! Oh, and I am also a Functional Health and Wellness Practitioner with a Masters in Holistic Nutrition and Board Certified with the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. What brings me the most joy? Helping men and women, just like you, unpack the ‘noise’ surrounding health, wellness and nutrition to help YOU find the joy, peace and health YOU deserve!

Full disclosure: if you were to have told me even ten years ago that I would be counseling others on how to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle, I would have belly laughed and said you were out of your mind! That’s right, I was not a “born” health and wellness advocate, but I think that makes me an even better example of, “If I can do it, YOU can do it!” Seriously, I’m willing to wager I’ve felt and experienced many (if not all) of the things that are possibly stopping you from living the life of your dreams.

Eating healthy, nourishing foods does not have to be complicated, restrictive or mundane. Let’s shift the mindset from fear, fast and forced, to peaceful, purposeful and powerful. Our thoughts control our actions, so before we make the shift in our bodies, let’s first get our heads in the right space. I promise, eating a diet rich in nourishing whole foods is not scary, boring or restrictive. In fact, I believe it to be quite the opposite.

My Hope For You..

I feel compelled to tell you my story because it is my belief that genuine health and wellness is achievable for all of us — even those who feel as though they are a ‘lost cause’. I assure you, I have been there. I have been at the bottom, overwhelmed with the idea of working my way to the top — and let’s be honest, my journey is ongoing, as will yours. However, what does not waver is my mindset. I believe I am worthy. I believe I can do it. And, I believe in my WHY!

At the end of the day, my hope is that I can inspire you to shift your mindset, be willing to step outside of your comfort zone and take that first step toward living the life of your dreams. What is that first step you ask? It’s finding your truth and defining your WHY. Food, nutrition, fitness and lifestyle all play a role in wellness, but by far the most important component begins deep within you — and that is your WHY.
